2002 Shakespeare Fellowship
Essay Contest Winners
Congratulations to all contest entries for a fabulous batch of intriguing and insightful essays on Shakespeare and on the authorship question. The judges devoted many hours to winnowing the most effective essays down to this list of winners and honorable mentions. In each division winning entries were selected answering more than one of the proposed questions, in accordance with the principle that those essays of greatest insight on any topic were to be valued by the judges. Due to technical delays, it may be a few more weeks before the winning essays can be published to the site. Look for them in coming weeks.
